Le Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) est une formation postgrade donnée par les hautes écoles et elle équivaut à au moins 60 crédits ECTS.

The programme is structured around 4 modules:

  • Public International Law
  • International Humanitarian Law
  • International Human Rights Law (including International Refugee Law)
  • International Criminal Law

Master Thesis

Objectives

  • Acquire specialized knowledge concerning the legal framework applicable to armed conflict.
  • Develop analytical tools and improve expertise in international law.

Ammissione

Condizioni d'ammissione

  • Work experience in a relevant field
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in English
  • A valid visa or residence permit (only applicants who require a visa to enter the Schengen area)

Audience

Diplomat, lawyer, legal adviser, judge, NGO staff, human rights advocate, media specialist, professional working in emergency situations, UN staff and staff from other international organizations

Executive Master of Advanced Studies in International Law in Armed Conflict (60 ECTS credits), delivered jointly by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and the University of Geneva.
